Juicy peaches, Coca-Cola and gold are only some of the great things that have come from Georgia. It has stunning scenery, especially with the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and amazing rushing rivers. What Georgia is most famous for though is its legendary hospitality. Grab a glass of homemade lemonade and enjoy exploring what it has to offer.

Map of Georgia

From the cosmopolitan cities to the beautiful southern plantations, every area has something unique to showcase. Elegant, historic mansions and century-old cemeteries add to Georgia’s rich and colorful history. It’s not uncommon to find stunning Victorian architecture depicted through the churches, business and restaurants.

Georgia is also proud to be the first state where Coca Cola was created and there’s just nothing better then cracking open a cold bottle on a hot Georgia day. Actually that’s not quite true. The homemade lemonade is pretty fantastic as well. One of the many benefits of visiting Georgia is experiencing true southern style cooking. Fried chicken, cornbread and dumplings are the tip of the iceberg and a real treat for those who enjoy a real home cooked meal.

Then there’s the golfing. Anyone who has ever played the game knows Georgia has championship golf courses that look like they came right out of a magazine. Whether you’ll play a round, or two, of golf, go shopping, explore the museums, experience fine dining or relax at the hotel, you won’t forget Georgia’s hospitality. Rumor has it that you can still pan for gold at a few of the mines. Anyway you slice it you’ll have a great time here.
